Brendan M. Lee, RA is principal of Project Bureaux. He has over 15 years of experience working on a broad range of projects from private residences to performing arts centers and university buildings. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and his Master of Architecture from Yale, and is a registered architect in the states of New York and New Jersey.

Before forming Project Bureaux, Brendan was an Associate at Deborah Berke Partners (now known as TenBerke), where he managed the design and construction administration of projects including the 122 Community Center for New York City's Department of Cultural Affairs, the Lewis Law Center at Harvard Law School, and the transformation of a townhouse into a contemporary family residence in historic Brooklyn Heights. Previous project experience with Robert A.M. Stern Architects included the Greenberg Conference Center at Yale University and the Kohler Environmental Center at Choate Rosemary Hall.

Brendan serves as a member and Vice-Chair of the Historic Preservation Commission for Tenafly, NJ. He has taught interior design at Parsons School of Design and has been an invited critic on design juries at Parsons, Columbia, Yale, Pratt Institute, School of Visual Arts, and the Rhode Island School of Design. He edited Perspecta 37: Famous, the Yale Architectural Journal and his work has been published in MONU, Wallpaper, and Retrospecta.
